What Should A New Chiropractic Patient Expect?

As you enter any Figurelli Chiropractic Wellness Center you are warmly greeted by our courteous and knowledgable office staff.  You will be asked to complete our Patient History Form which is completely confidential.  DR. FIGURELLI will use the information you provide in this form as a starting point to understanding your current health status and areas of concern for futher discussion during your first consultation.

Your First Wellness Consultation

During your visit with Dr. Figurelli you will have the opportunity to openly discuss the reasons for your visit, so that an intial chiropractic plan and course of action designed just for you, your personal points of pain and your overall health goals can be developed.

Initial Chiropractic Examination

Upon completion of your consultation, Dr. Figurelli will perform a number of assessments to determine your level of reflex and flexibility. A number of additional tests will be offered to confirm the status of of your overall chiropractic health and well-being.

Analysis of Initial Exam Findings

After speaking with you about your health goals, assessing your medical history and examining test results, Dr. Figurelli will provide you with the information on what chiropractic techniques he recommends, what type of visit schedule is recommended, as well as what costs will be associated with the treatment. Dr. Figurelli’s experienced office staff will also be happy to assist you in confirming which procedures will be covered by your current health insurance provider.

Your First Chiropractic Treatment

The first appointment is primarily dedicated to meeting you and hearing about your thoughts on your ailments, lifestyle and what has and hasn’t historically worked for you.  However, after discussion with Dr. Figurelli, you may both decide it’s approrpriate to begin your first chiropractic treatment during this session.  Treatments may include spinal adjustments, physical therapy, and/or soft tissue massage. Dr. Figurelli will be speaking with you the entire time, confirming what treatment is comfortable for you and what treatment style you may prefer.

Ongoing Personalized Chiropractic Care Plan

At the conclusion of your appointment, Dr. Figurelli will recommend an ongoing and personalized chiropractic care plan to help you achieve your stated chiropractic goals.  This may include instructions on how to use ice or heat therapy at home, advice on what to avoid, and basic exercises you can do between visits as part of your care plan. It will also include one of the Figurelli Chiropractic Wellness Center specialized services we offer:
